Integrating MadCap Flare files onto a SharePoint site

Post by Roy Hurley »

Hi,

Can you integrate Flare with a SharePoint site so that you can publish something directly from Flare to appear on the SharePoint site. For Example, your writing a user guide description of a documents library and you want to integrate that work onto the site so that a user can can find that specific description and capabilites of that library on the Working documents site page.

It appears possible through the pages at the sites below:
http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... ration.htm
http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... Server.htm

From trying to do it the instructions have taken me to creating a new destination folder in the project where I add the admin site details,
host name & port number but from there i appear to hit a wall.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey, Roy. I'm attempting a similar feat. If I meet with any success, I'll share what I can here.

One note, the links you provide below no longer work (looks like that were targeting the Flare v7 help).
Here's the v10 versions:
MadCap Flare - About SharePoint Integration
MadCap Flare - Connecting to a SharePoint Server
Hope this helps in the meantime!
