Is it a Bookmark? I use FrameMaker source files. Is it converting something marked from FrameMaker?

Re: Numbers showing on top of first line
I suspect that those numbers are part of name of the bookmark that clearly being shown at beginning of the line. But I don't know why Flare's showing the whole bookmark name like that, and I can't reproduce it in one of my projects. Flare shows my bookmark as "Is_c..." in the XML Editor.
My hunch is that your content was imported from another tool into Flare, and that long-named bookmark came along for the ride. Do you even need that bookmark? Is it being referenced by any other topic?

How do I hide these markers in XML Editor? For example, I don't want to see "<span> <span>".

Not good practice to post the same request in more than one folder (I answered your first post).

Re: Numbers showing on top of first line
I know, it was a last resort, because I couldn't figure out how to post a new question. Then when i finally figured out how to post a new question, I had already posted it here. Sorry. But thanks for the answer.
I had tried turning off markers and nothing happened. I don't even know what a <Span> is, but i guess if it's there and empty and should be deleted, I can do that.
Thanks again.
