Code not working on some computers

Post by pouliotmax »

Hi,

i have this code

Code: Select all

$.ajax({
	type: "post",
	url: "http://saaprod/soutien_tache/outils/preferencesAO/tocCheck.asp",
	success: function(str)
	{
		if (str=="Oui")
		{
			$("#show-hide-navigation").click();
		}
	}
      });
in my HTML 5 skin. On my computers but on other computers (same browser : IE9), the code does not work. Anybody knows how come? Option in IE9?

Have the computers where the code does not work had security options beefed up, such as not allowing scripts or Java to run? Do they have Java installed?

They will be browser settings, usually under security or add-ins.

In IE click the gear icon at the top right of screen and select Internet options from the context menu. Check the options on the Privacy and Security tabs are the same.

Click the Advaned tab and scroll through the settings until you find security. Check they are the same.

It could also be something set up by your system admins, it might be worth asking if they know why the pages work on some machines and not others...
