How to Hide Markers?
In XML Editor, how do i hide markers? I don't want to see "<span><span>".
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

In the XML Editor, click the down arrow at the Show Tags icon (next to last icon on the right, just above the topic pane), then deselect Show Markers.
However, what you have there is an empty span tag, which should actually be deleted.
Hope this helps,

Re: How to Hide Markers?
I had tried turning off markers and nothing happened. I don't even know what a <Span> is, but i guess if it's there and empty and should be deleted, I can do that.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: How to Hide Markers?
<span> is a HTML element intended for inline application (ie a span of words) similar to a <div> (division) except the div tag is used for block level elements.
So, if you wanted to apply a style from a cascading style sheet to a single word or phrase within a paragraph you would use a <span>.
My guess is you inherited this project and a previous author had some inline formatting going on that they deleted, probably adding the same text outside the span tags before deleting the repeated text inside the tags, or some other form of funkiness!
