Hi,
To apply multiple Master pages (a default for the Target and an alt. one for the Welcome page, with no breadcrumbs, mini toc etc.) I have followed the instructions in various forum posts here, and now have this working pretty much as I want. (Thanks to all contributors on that one - you know who you are!)
The only glitch is that the Welcome page is now displaying unwanted white space above the h1 (i.e where the Breadcrumbs used to be.). Is there a simple fix to this? Thanks for any advice.

Re: Unwanted white space when breadcrumbs absent
Hi, there is nothing above the <h1> tag in your topic or master page? Then the next to look at is the h1 style settings, like margins, padding, line-height.
In PDF you can collapse top margins, this isn't available for online output. Just mentioning it as you may be used to that, in case you create PDF as well.
Other point: have you styled the body or body proxy with any margins or padding or did you put any div's in there that could account for the space?

Thanks for the reply. Have fixed it, thanks - was to do with my non-scrolling region (NSR).
My h1 and breadcrumbs both have the same pale grey background; to get the NSR to stay the same height irrespective of whether the breadcrumbs are there, I created "h1.NoBreadcrumbs" with 'top' reduced from 30px to zero and padding-top increased from 5 to 35px.
