This sounds such a basic question, but I really can't find the required command in the interface.
I have several snippets on a page, and each one displays the start of the snippet file name in grey before the actual snippet text. I can see why you'd want this, but all the extra characters for the wreck the formatting on-screen even though they don't print - I get text breaking over extra pages for example. As I'm trying to fit things very carefully into one page of a PDF, I need to be able to be in editor mode without constantly going into the preview page and closing it again.
There MUST be a button somewhere that toggles those snippet names on and off. MUST be.
Help!
Andrew.
How can I toggle snippet file names?

Try the Show Tags button on the topic toolbar - it looks like an eye with a drop down list over on the end of the toolbar.
Try clearing the Show Markers option, and also the Show Named Elements option.
