I don't wanna a navigation bar!
I don't wanna toolbar!
I don't wanna outer frame!
I want it to look like any other website!
I want it to look like I have more web design skillz than I actually have!
Is there some way I can do this? I can make it sorta happen with a basic Web Help output, but the navigation pane still appears on the IE browser.
I don't want a skin for HTML5!

If you don't want anything in the skin - i.e. navigation, search, CSH functionality - then just open the topic directly.

Uhm okay great idea but at the risk of sounding like a dork, how do I do that? I'm creating content-sensitive web help for a web portal. I'll be creating header files for alias files, all that jazz.

Well, as mentioned above, CSH is one of the things that's part of the skin - so if you need Flare's CSH, then unfortunately you need the skin.
So in this case, your options are just to hide what you don't want, e.g.:
- switch off the TOC and everything else in Features, which hides the navigation bar
- deselect all toolbar buttons, which hides the toolbar
- switch off the header, search bar and logo; by setting their layout Display to none.
That should get you fairly close, but you'll still have a visible topic container.
If you have a good understanding of CSS, then you can go a step further in customising the skin and add your own CSS modifications, by using a technique in my post here:
