Extra Page Prints before Topic Prints

Hi,

I generate my HTML help and click the standard Print button in the toolbar. An extra page always prints BEFORE my topic does. This also happens if I press Ctrl+W on the topic in Flare and right-mouse click and print. Seems like a lot of waste of paper. Any ideas?

Hello Tawni, welcome to the forums.
Whenever you print from the HTML help (or in Flare), the print medium will be used. Which can have different settings than your Default (or custom) medium.
I would check these for a start:
- What is the style you use on the first line of the topic and how is this style defined in the stylesheet for the print medium? Maybe some page breaks are set there.
- Is there anything before the first heading of the topic? Anything that could be styled to insert a page break?

I had my PrintSupport > page-break-before set to always. I set it to Avoid and just like magic, that extra page disapeared.
