Xrefs I make in Flare do not work in Word. Hyperlinks work but they are far far less flexible when it comes to formatting.
Would like to hear how others get around this problem.
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Cross References in Word
Please be more specific about what you're seeing with xrefs not working in Word. I have no problems with getting Flare to create xrefs in Word output. (My xrefs include page references, and although Flare doesn't make the title of an xref-ed section a link, it does make the "on page x" a link.) The issue you're seeing might have to do with how you've styled xrefs in your stylesheet, but that's only a guess at this point. More detail, please...

RETIRED, but still fond of all the Flare friends I've made. See you around now and then!

Is there a way to get the heading text the link or just the page number?Nita Beck wrote:Please be more specific about what you're seeing with xrefs not working in Word. Re: Cross References in Word
I'm having problems with xrefs in Word (2007), too.
Flares 10 or 11, the XREF format is "{i}{paratext}{/i}". Dead on arrival in Word. Other XREFs to seem to work.
No idea what to do.
Cheers & thanks,
Riley
