Remove Search Widget from HTML5 target?

Is there a way to completely remove the search widget from the HTML5 target?

In the skin editor, I can easily find how to customize and stylize that search widget, but not remove it. I am interested in removing that widget.

You can't remove the widget but you can make it disappear.

In the Styles option of the Skin Editor, for all the Search options, set all borders to 0px and all background colours to transparent, even the gradients.

The widget will now merge into the background.

To remove it, just set Search Bar > Layout > Display - none.

You can't do that using the skin editor.

You might be able to do it using a little bit of scripting; if you have experience and that sounds up your street, then have a look at my blog post here about how to modify the skin:

Is there a quick version of how do move the search widget to the skin's toolbar you could share here?

In the skin toolbar script, try something like:

	$("div.search-bar").appendTo("div.buttons");
});

It'll probably need some refinement though.
