Wrong dates posted when I publish
Wrong dates posted when I publish
When publishing to our FTP doing a "Build and Publish", the files appear on the FTP but with the wrong dates ("1/30/2008" when I just published this morning). Any ideas how to fix that?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Did those files change in any way? If these files never changed since 2008 I'd expect them to keep their file date.

Yes, all the files changed. (Footer updates).

And on the FTP server the files have all the old content / footer?

No. The updated files are there on the FTP server. It's just that the date is wrong.

Not ignoring you, just have no idea why that might be. One option might be to wipe the FTP folder and publish again. If that still yields the same file dates then I am as baffled as you are.

Re: Wrong dates posted when I publish
OK, thanks! My Developers think I went back in time.
FYI... This AM I built new HTML5 and PDF output then used FileZilla to refresh our FTP server. FileZilla refreshed the files as intended and posted the correct dates. And now when I just did a "Build and Publish" within 9.1.2, the FTP server shows the correct time stamps.
No longer a concern.

Re: Wrong dates posted when I publish
I just published new HTML5 output to a new, empty folder on the FTP server within Flare. Why is the Flare publishing log saved out on the server in this new folder dated 2/13/2008, instead of today???

Did you try dropping a file onto the server from outside of Flare? Is the date and time of your Flare box correct?

Dumb question, but did you check your system time? A quick test of switching system time showed that the log date will reflect the current system time (e.g. I had my logs showing 2/18/2005).ibmgeek wrote:Why is the Flare publishing log saved out on the server in this new folder dated 2/13/2008, instead of today???
