Hello....
I recently changed the output on a set of Release Notes from WebHelp to HTML5 (Flare 10). I noticed the TOC "alt text" feature was no longer there. While it isn't critical to this project, I have other projects with longer TOC entries. I took a quick look, but didn't find any setting within Flare to "enable" this. Can anyone shed any light as to how I can get the TOC "alt text" to display? Attached are images from both the WebHelp and HTML5 outputs. The images are pretty self explanatory. Thanks in advance!!

Re: HTML5 TOC "Alt text"
Got quite a few reads on this.....perhaps this is something that "went away" with an HTML5 output?
Re: HTML5 TOC "Alt text"
I'm not 100% sure about webhelp format, but I've never seen this in my HTML5 output.
I'm sure it's possible to add, if you really really wanted to. The "Title=" attribute of the "a" tags are where that hovertext comes from. You could use JavaScript/JQuery to cycle through and add that, but it would be non-trivial to set up.
I'm afraid I don't know any better solution than that, if there is one.

Thanks for the reply dorcutt.
I'm not up for having to manually create this.
But it does seem curious to me that a nice feature in webhelp went away with the HTML5 output.

Re: HTML5 TOC "Alt text"
In that case, I'd recommend setting up a feature request. If other people need/want the same thing, there's a small chance Flare could add that. It seems rather unlikely, though, honestly.
Good luck!
