I have two questions about the new version of Flare:
1. Does it show where a topic is used in multiple "maps" like in DITA?
2. Does it have a workflow cycle that allows for native reviews, or do we have to export to PDF or something to get reviewer comments?
Thanks,
Joel

Re: Review and Where Used
Welcome to the forums, Joel!
Flare 11 (and many prior versions) includes a feature called View Links with which one can view all the links both into and out of a given file. You can learn more here: http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... _Links.htm
For reviews of native Flare files, the Flare author would create a review package of files from a project and then send that review package to reviewers. The reviewers could review it either in another installation of Flare or in a companion product called MadCap Contributor. There are two versions of Contributor: a free version, which is limited to allowing a reviewer to add comments (called "annotations" in MadCap-land), and a paid version which allows reviewers additionally to actually edit the content. Afterward, the reviewer returns the review package to the originating Flare author, who can then accept or reject changes on a case-by-case basis within a file or all changes within that file.
You can begin your learning about how Flare supports reviews and contributions here: http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... utions.htm
You can learn about Contributor here: http://www.madcapsoftware.com/products/contributor/
In my own practice, some of my clients' reviewers are comfortable with Contributor, but others are not. For those who are not, I generate either a PDF or a Word document for review. Obviously, I then must manually incorporate review changes.

RETIRED, but still fond of all the Flare friends I've made. See you around now and then!

Re: Review and Where Used
Thanks much! This is helpful.
I think my first question still needs some clarity. I'm not referring to links, but to a re-use scenario. If I want to see all the documents that a topic is used in, is there a way to do that?

Think "targets," rather than "documents". That same View Links feature will show you what targets a given topic is associated with (i.e., used in).
