I know this thread is dated, but I would like to learn more concerning the a.mc-previous and a.mc-next controls. My question surrounds the use of a Logitech Professional Presenter R800. These can also be referred to as a pointer or clicker as well. When I display by browser in full screen mode, I would like to utilize this device to navigate the slide show, left and right. Through testing, I have found that these inputs move the browser window up and down. (Hence where my problem lies!)
I have read many threads concerning the use of HTML5 Slides in an instructional setting and this thread is the closest to a similar question I also have. If you would like, I could post my question to the larger audience for more input.

As the OP I have no problem with you asking your question here, but you may have better luck if the title of your post more directly describes your problem. Also, I believe that if you create a post it will be nearer the top of the topics list than this old one(?)
Cheers & hope this helps,

Thank you. I will post a new thread for all to see. (First posts on a new forum is always dicey. Thanks for the tip!

Re: V10 Slideshow: Using "clicker" to advance slides
Hello Ryan. Welcome to the forums.
It looked like you didn't have a chance to create a new thread yet, so I took the liberty of splitting this one out of the original thread so you didn't have to create a new one.
I think that the issue here is that you are looking at a browser page. The issue here is that this isn't a true slide show, it's just some CSS and javascript that make it act like a slide show.
Either you or MadCap would need to find a way to intercept the click from the remote and then write a script that would advance the slide rather than scroll the page. Maybe somebody with a scripting background could tell us how hard that would be, but I think that is what would be required here.
Have a great day!
