TOC problem

Post by ccardimon »

I have a problem with PDF output for a project.

The label "Contents" is of type "p.Title" but shows up by itself on one page. The rest of the contents shows up on its own page.

I don't have this problem with any other PDF output on any other project.

I have even copied the TOC entry from another project into this one. Same problem.

Here is the code that contains the errant "Contents" label:

Check the page-break properties for MadCap|tocProxy in the StyleSheet. In fact, you may want to open the StyleSheet in the Text Editor and look at what properties exist for the style.

You might also check to see if your div style has the following specified, as it can cause the TOC proxy to push to the subsequent page:

Code: Select all

div
{
     page-break-inside: avoid;
}

I should have noted that the issue with the div style only occurs if the generated TOC spans more than one page.
