Flare v11.0.1 - XML editor cursor lost

Hello all,

Has anyone experienced the problem with the inability to edit (missing cursor) in the XML editor. When the editor gets into this state, you cannot select content or type. To resolve this problem, you have to select the Text editor and then switch back to the XML editor again. Prior to v11.0.1, it was an infrequent annoyance but today's latest update, it seems to have become far more frequent (already occurred 4 times in the past hour).

The problem seems to occur whenever I switch to another program (e.g. the browser typing this message) and then I switch back to Flare and I find that I cannot select anything within the XML editor, although the vertical scroll still works.

Anyone else familiar with this problem?

UPDATE:

This problem is actually appearing anytime focus is taken off Flare.

It appears that the upgrade has definitely made this problem worse than in prior versions.

Another update!

Even switching focus within Flare results in the XML editor fault.

Examples:
A) Right-click on image and select, Image Properties... make adjustments and then exit back to the XML editor.
B) Blocking text and selecting a bullet type.

As a result of doing the above, returning to the XML editor means there is no cursor or ability to edit document! To resolve the problem, I must toggle between the XML editor and the Text editor in order to regain control of the XML editor.

I never had this problem. Running 11.01 on 64-bit Windows 8.1.
