Newbie question.
When I right-click on the html structure bar in a snippet or a topic, I see that Conditions is an option.
Is applying conditions here the exact same thing as applying the conditions via the snippet or topic properties?
What I did notice is that clicking on the html bar for a topic allows for applying conditions but not 'snippet conditions'. Is there a way to enable that option? Or is there a trick to quickly access a topic's properties when you are working on a topic and it is open? I hate having to leave it to go find it again in Content Explorer just to right-click and add a snippet condition. I'm lazy that way.
Applying conditions to snippet or topic via html block
Re: Applying conditions to snippet or topic via html block
Yes, applying conditions to the html tag is the same as setting them in the properties.
To see the properties: right-click and select Topic Properties, or press ctrl+shift+p.

Thanks yet again Dave. I truly do appreciate the time you take to answer my questions. I would like you to know that I do spend quite a bit of time trying to figure stuff out on my own before posting here, and I spend way more time searching/reading this forum than I do working on my project!Dave Lee wrote:Yes, applying conditions to the html tag is the same as setting them in the properties.

All to say sorry about that second question. I should have figured that out on my own. Don't know why I didn't think to right-click in the open topic. I've been reading the the help file on conditions on and off all day for different answers. I guess I forgot to look for that question before posting, because I just now found out about the button to the left of Layout that opens the conditions.
