Topic is linked to an unused stylesheet

On the project/target level, I have configured the custom stylesheet I want to use.

One topic, however, remains mysteriously linked to an unused stylesheet. How can I change this?

Okay, that was seriously weird. Why would a stylesheet look one way in both the Advanced and Simple views, but look differently in the internal text editor?

Some text was set to be centered in both Advanced and Simple views, but the centering was not set when I used the internal text editor.

Open the topic in the text editor and look somewhere within the <head> tag for the <link> tag that links this topic to the unused stylesheet. Remove that entire <link> tag.
