I upgraded this morning to the new Flare 11 update. Now, when I'm building a project, I get to see "Compile Status," which is nice.
Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any progress indication whatsoever when I do a publish. Previous, the little green progress bar would let me know it was publishing and would change into a dark green when the publish process finishing.
As of this morning, I see "Running," but no progress bar to let me know that it's even still alive. No indication that it is actually publishing, except that if I try to close Flare, it tells me I have a project building. I'm publishing a project that takes 15-20 minutes via SFTP, due to a large number of image and sound files, so I'm waiting and waiting for some indication that something is happening. And the final straw: No indication that the publish finished (I only discovered so by waiting for the new log file to write in the output folder)
Either I'm missing something that has changed, or this seems like a really bad oversight. Is everyone seeing this?
UPDATE: Turns out that if you do a Build&Publish, you see progress in the "Compile Status" section of the build window. However, if you do a Publish by itself (after previously doing a build), you see no progress, and no indication of completion.

You can have a progress bar for publishing too, although it's hard to find!
Right-click one of the build window column headings, then choose Publish Progress and Compile Progress.
Edit: In 11.1 you can now right-click any of the column headings to get the menu. It used to only work if you right-clicked the empty box.

Bump - I have this issue too. No indication that the publish is actually running other than 'Running' in the status column. And no indication when it has completed.
When I stop the build manually, my FTP site shows the new files are there. I have to guess when it's finished though.
This is definitely a bug (I've logged it with Madcap).
