Flare & Native DITA Support

Is there any timeline for Flare _natively_ supporting DITA? We've having discussions about moving to that standard and it would be helpful to know if our timeframe for migration means we could actually stay with Flare (my preference) rather than using another tool.

This is just a peer-to-peer forum, so you'd need to put that question to MadCap.

When you say 'timeline' rather than asking if it'll happen, have you read/heard somewhere that MadCap intend to do this?

I had read elsewhere that Flare intend to do this but hadn't seen anything official. Will ask and see how they respond.

So still no DITA editing, even though the Help in version 5 was hinting that it's coming:

In this version, you cannot use Flare to edit DITA content natively.
