Hi
Something of a Flare Noob - I appear to be stuck in some kind of overwrite mode.
I can't put my cursor in anywhere other than it highlights a character. If I press space or type a character it eats the existing text.
IIRC in Word there is a toggle at the bottom of the page, but I don't see anything similar in Flare, but you get the idea I think

Try the Insert key on your keyboard.
