pdf creation and table of content problem

Post by ndscap »

Hi,

i want to create a pdf document.
If i create it, the table of content is shown first in the output, but i want some welcome page to be the first one to be shown.

How can I do that?

In the TOC Editor, put the Welcome page at the top of the list.

I think you might benefit from a bit more detail.

I suspect you are using the automatically generated TOC. To have, a bit more flexibility you need to create a new topic (call it TOC for the sake of argument), and in that topic insert a TOC proxy. You then need to put the TOC topic wherever you want it in your Flare TOC.
You then also need to turn off the automatically generated TOC. Open the target, click the Advanced tab and clear the Generate TOC Proxy check box.
Now when you generate your output, the TOC is created as a result of the topic that you placed rather than the automatic option.

Hope that helps.
