Last week my PC was upgraded to Windows 10.
However, it seems that I cannot use the auto suggestions from variables since then.
The settings in File > Options are ok; i.e. all check boxes in the tab Auto Suggestions are set.
I even reset them, but that did not work.
Has anyone else experiences like these after upgrading to Windows 10?

Hi there,
I'm using Windows 7, but I also have issues with my auto suggestions suddenly not working.
In my case, closing Flare, deleting the following folders, then reopening Flare fixes the issue:

Thanks Paulie,
I tried but that did not work out.
In other projects I have it isn't an issue.

Re: Auto Suggestion and Windows 10
Hello Wil,
I was recently upgraded to Windows 10 also and the suggestions are working.
Your last post is that it happens in a single project and not other projects.
Click on the View Ribbon
Click Project Analysis > Database Errors
Are there any errors?
If yes, contact support for help taking care of these errors.
If there are no errors:
Deleting the MadCap Software registry entry could possibly help this if the System was upgraded vs a New computer.
If you do go this route and are comfortable doing it - please be sure your registry is backed up and you have your activation numbers for the software just in case.
Close all MadCap Software.
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MadCap Software
Delete the MadCap Software key.
Launch Flare
Open Project
See if the Suggestions work
If you are not comfortable messing with the Registry, Please contact support and they can walk you through it.

Hi Rob,
I can't see where it is.
In MadCap Software there is a Default entry type REG_SZ and (value not set)
If I look further in the structure I see the map MadCap Flare V11 with Licence and Registration both with the same entries and values.
So, I do not know where to find exactly what you mean.
