Hoping someone can help out here.
I just got done moving our HTML5 Tripane help system over to a Top Navigation style. I still have some quirks to figure out (i.e. we have way too many top-level books in our TOC!) The one issue I can't figure out is the left margin. When I compile the output, there is a white space about 100px on the left side of the webpage. I've looked through the skin, target, and master stylesheet, but can't figure out where that margin is coming from. My best guess is that its from one of MadCap's built-in stylesheets, but even then, I can't find any setting that would map to the left edge like that.
Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on, or even where to look?
Cheers,
Jim

(I don't have access to Flare at the moment so you'll need to test out what I'm about to write...)
Reading through the Flare 11 Help material at http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... _Skins.htm, it seems to me that the bit you need to edit is the maximum width of the main page in the HTML5 Top Nav skin. It's not that you set that left margin but rather that you say how wide you want your content area to be. Besides, that left margin will get wider or narrower depending on the width of the browser window, which is what one wants anyway for a responsive web design.
So, go look in the Top Nav skin in the Main Page area and adjust the main page's maximum width.

Yeah, I tried that setting. Even changing it to 100%, that left white space remains. Instead, it moved all of text flush with the left edge of the gray bar in the header. Any other ideas?

Right-click on the white space and select Inspect Element. This displays the HTML and CSS, which should tell you what is causing it.
