Topics as separate pages (PDF)

Post by likeller »

I would like the pdf output to have each topic heading start on a new page. Currently it is appearing as several pages of continuous text with line breaks only but no page breaks. Do i have to go in and put in page breaks in the editor of each topic manually or is there a way to apply this change to the project as a whole? Thanks.

Hi there,

I don't have a lot of experience with PDF targets, but I would assume that the page-break-before:always; CSS declaration is supported. If this is supported, you could add something like this to your style sheet:

Code: Select all

h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6
{
page-break-before:always;
}

Yup, Paulie, that's the way to do it (said with a very natty swazzle in my mouth! :-D )
