"Find and Replace" problems (can't find/greyed out)

I'm running into a lot of problems with using Find and Replace in Flare 9.1.2. A lot of the time, it simply doesn't find the specified text even in the same topic. I've gone as far as to reboot and reload, but finding a piece of text is complete pot-luck; one piece of text will be found in a topic, the next won't.

Then in same cases the Find and Replace panel isn't even available, but greyed out entirely.

Older versions of F&R caused me to start using Search & Replace Master. Versions 10 & 11 are much improved.
