I love the Link Viewer, but am wondering what the Associated Targets panel is telling me when I use the Link Viewer on a style sheet.
I have a style sheet that is not being used, so the Linked From: and Linked To: panels are blank when I select the style sheet and right click and select View Links.
But why does the Associated Targets panel populate? What does that mean?

Re: Link Viewer Associated Targets
Thanks, Dave Lee. I read that online help page, but it seems to be written with the assumption that you are looking at links for a topic file. However, you can use Link Viewer on style sheets, too. When I view links for a style sheet , I see a whole list of targets in the Targets panel, but no target is linking to the style sheet. So what does the list of targets in the Targets panel in Link Viewer mean?

Re: Link Viewer Associated Targets
Hi all,
I am having a similar issue regarding the "Associated Targets" panel in the Link Viewer. There are graphics in my project that are not referenced by any topic, and do not link to any topic, and yet they are listed in the Associated Targets panel. I don't understand how a graphic can be in a target if it is not inlcuded in any topics that are referenced by that target.
Please could someone help me get to the bottom of this?
I'm tidying up the folders in my project and want to move unused graphics to a new folder, but this is making it tricky for me to see which graphics are still in use and which can be retired.
Many thanks!

Re: Link Viewer Associated Targets
A graphic could be mentioned in a stylesheet, or a masterpage (or whatever the new name is) or a page layout, so there are lots of ways.
