Run a "Search and Replace" at build time

Is it possible to run a "Search and Replace" at build time to find all instances of, say, "IBM" and replace them with "ACME" -- ?

You could insert the company name as a variable; then in one target set that variable to ACME, and in another target set it to IBM.
