Flare 11 won't start

I have already contacted tech support, but thought I'd ask you experienced folks.

Anyone ever had Flare not start, and then begin an installation process, even though you had Flare 11 installed for quite some time?

Flare is still on my machine, but the shortcuts won't function.

If I search for Flare on my machine, the prior version, Flare 10, starts.

This is totally weird. Sound familiar to anyone?

Have you had a windows update recently, or one that failed?

Has your windows installation been rolled back, or software been uninstalled?

I'm thinking Windows Registry problem here...

Not exactly. After Flare failed, I rebooted. Then I got 32 updates. After restarting, I tried Flare again. No dice.

Fixed. Back up and running. With help from tech support, I uninstalled Flare 11, did some file clean-up, and then re-installed Flare. No idea what caused all the fuss.
