Has anyone seen this and/or resolved it? I could not find this issue resolved on the MadCap Software forum, although they do list many similar Chrome bugs.
For example, here is a view of our web help.
When I hover my cursor over the content pane, it all the content appears underlined.
The underline is presumably a hover style gone awry in Chrome.

Re: All Flare WebHelp content appears underlined in Chrome
I'm willing to bet it is the exact same problem as described in these threads:cdiamond wrote:Has anyone seen this and/or resolved it? I could not find this issue resolved on the MadCap Software forum, although they do list many similar Chrome bugs.

The problem just exhibits itself differently depending on your CSS. Try using the namespace solution that Rob Hollinger suggests.

Thanks Kristen. They have tried at least one of those and it did not work.
I hope MadCap is reading this, too.
I'd prefer to know when the MadCap bug fix so we don't need to invest in this multiple times. Various teams at my company are finding different issues with the "localhost" solution or alternative solutions.
We don't have time to troubleshoot this any more and we were told you were working on resolution and would have one this week. We have a release going out the door next Friday, so we need the fix as soon as possible.
MadCap, if you are here... will you be providing a bug fix in an update? If so, when? Please advise.
Thanks,
Christine

Re: All Flare WebHelp content appears underlined in Chrome
The 'localhost' fix is not the correct one -- this will cause issues in the content served to the web.cdiamond wrote:Various teams at my company are finding different issues with the "localhost" solution or alternative solutions.
The correct fix is the one Rob lists here:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=26711&start=25#p117901
You copy the following:
Code: Select all
@namespace MadCap url(http://www.madcapsoftware.com/Schemas/MadCap.xsd);From the LinkedIn user group, if you have an @import rule, you need to place the @import before the @namespace:
And to summarize a couple issues from other people testing:
1. Make sure, after the fix is applied to content on the web, to clear the cache of the browser and refresh.
2. Make sure you're using the latest version of Chrome. When I first tried, I was using an early build of Chrome 47. After I updated to a later build of Chrome 47, the fix worked fine.
