Topics show up twice in search results

Hi,

I have a help system consisting of 28 merged CHM files that I recently converted from RoboHelp. I'm using Flare 11.1.2 with Windows 7.

I noticed that topics are listed twice in the search results on the Search tab. I can click either entry to view the topic.

I did not select the option to exclude topics that are not linked to the TOC, but I have verified that the topics are not duplicated within the project.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure that those topics aren't in more than one module?

I had this problem in a project a few years back, albeit in an older version of Flare (can't remember the number).

Every time I changed a topic, the previous version was saved as a .bak file and these were all ending up in the project.
