ANSWERED: HTML5, control "MCWebHelpFramesetLinkBottom"?

Post by Phlawm53 »

------
For Flare 11, HTML5 Tri-Pane Target.

How might I seize control of an HTML5 Target's placement and formatting of MCWebHelpFramesetLinkBottom?

IF in a browser I right-click a content-bearing page / frame in the HTML5 Target and select Frame -> Only This Frame, THEN a mysterious mechanism adds a helpful Open topic with navigation link at the bottom of the now skinless page.
FlareOpenTopicWithNavLink.png
Inspection of that page's HTML shows that this link is an auto-inserted paragraph of class MCWebHelpFramesetLinkBottom.

Code: Select all

<p class="MCWebHelpFramesetLink MCWebHelpFramesetLinkBottom">
  <a href="../../RTAOverview.htm">
  Open topic with navigation</a>
</p>
Given that this helpful link magically appears only when the Frame is displayed in skinless mode, is there a straightforward way to control the link's placement and formatting? (Dare I imagine there's a MCWebHelpFramesetLinkTop?)

More specifically, is there a way to have the magical process put the link at the top of the page rather than the bottom? (I'm pretty sure that if I can do that, then I'll be able to format the link's class on my own...)

Cheers & thanks for your help,
Riley

Flare has an option in the tripane skin Setup tab to Show navigation link at top/bottom of topic. This will show a navigation link in your topics if they’re opened stand-alone (it's always in the topic, just hidden if opened with the skin).

So if you want to style it, just use p.MCWebHelpFramesetLink
