Flare 11 and FM V13 - cannot import Frame Files, did patch

Hi,

I am running Flare 11 and FM V13 (Adobe FrameMaker (2015 release). The "Adobe FrameMaker is required to import FrameMaker documents" appears when trying to import.

I did a search on this and did the patch instructions where you would replace certain .DLLs. that were outlined here http://ts.madcapsoftware.com/downloads/ ... 1Patch.zip

I had to go back to originally DLLs because Flare would not open after doing this.

Area there any updates on this on how to get both to work together?

You probably have to upgrade to Flare 12.

I read that. We just bought the Flare here and I don't think they will pay to upgrade to Flare 12.

Is this not supported at all??

From what I heard, no. If you just bought it (as in a week ago) contact MadCap sales to see that they get you the new version. If it has been months ago you're probably out of luck, but that is for MadCap to decide. I have no influence on that.
One option is to drop down one Frame version assuming you have a license for that.

Contacted Ty today and because we have a subscription I am able to update to V12.
