Note, Caution, Warning icons are HUGE!

Post by Q2TechWriter »

Hey guys,

Somehow (I believe in the Flare 10 > 11 > 12 upgrade) something happened to my note icons that made them MASSIVE. We can't figure out how to fix this. Everything in the style sheet seems to be normal. Any help in resizing these icons within notes, cautions, and warnings would be fantastic. Below is an image of what I'm talking about.

Does this happen in Flare's XML editor, the output, or both?

If it's just Flare's XML editor, then maybe try the Automatically resize low DPI images setting in File > Options.

If it's in the output too, then it's probably your CSS. What image format are your icons?

Welp, that wasn't it. Nothing happened, even after refreshing, closing, and reopening the topic.

The file type is .svg.

OK, it'd be easier just to see the CSS as text, but from what i can tell it doesn't look like you've set anything for the background-size property.

Hi,

I noticed that your icon is svg. Are you using Adobe Illustrator? If so, then that's the cause of your problem. Try using Inkscape. I can't remember where i found the solution, but it has to do with how Illustrator is saving the file. I had the exact same issue for my bullets. My svg file was 10px x 10px, but was huge in Flare.
When you open the file, go to the document properties and makes sure you click Resize page to drawing or selection.
