Page Layouts differences v11 to v12

Post by ChoccieMuffin »

Hi all.

I have upgraded from 11 to 12 with no perceivable problem, EXCEPT with the background to the header in my page layouts.

In v11, I had a grey stripe across the top of the page as a decoration, which sat behind the header. The header properties say its background colour is transparent.

When generating PDF output, the header had that nice grey background.

In v12, when generating PDF output, the header box had a white background, in other words, the "transparent" setting didn't work.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

PS: I have submitted a bug (94165), so let's see what Tech Support come up with.

I'm seeing that issue as well with my header after upgrading to v12.

I had that problem, and it turns out that the bug was in Flare 11 and it has been fixed in Flare 12. The only problem is, it's Monday morning, I had an "enjoyable" weekend and I haven't had enough tea yet, so I can't remember what the solution was!

If it comes back to me I'll post, but just wanted to reassure you that it is fixable so you should get a prompt reply to your bug.

(I predict it's going to be a long week...)
