Fix line height of wrapped text in tripane skin nav panel

Post by spordelia »

When my tripane help shrinks down to tablet/mobile size, I don't like the way the topic names in the navigation panel are wrapping. There's enough space between lines that at first glance, it looks like two entries instead of one. And the icon is very oddly placed between the two lines.

In the skin editor, the Navigation > Navigation Panel > Navigation Panel Item > Block settings are
- Line Height: 3 em
- Word Wrap: normal

The property that controls spacing between lines is "Line Height." But reducing the line height removes all spacing, including BETWEEN topics... when what I want is to remove the spacing WITHIN a topic title that wraps to the next line. I tried opening the skin in the text editor and using padding or margin properties to control the spacing between nav panel items instead of line height, but the skin didn't seem to recognize these properties when I added them manually.

Any ideas?

(I'm really close to just turning off wrapping and making users scroll to see the whole topic title... it's hideous, but at least it isn't confusing!)
