Can someone suggest a useful scenario for applying conditions to topics in a Relationship table.
When learning about relationship tables, I incorrectly assumed the output would ignore topics that are excluded from the build. For example, the proxy normally shows Related topics ONE, TWO, THREE but if one of those topics is excluded from output I expected it to be omitted from proxy automatically.
Instead, the rule is this: if a topic has a condition, you must duplicate the condition on that topic in the relationship table. Unless conditioned, the relationship table proxy list ALL topics even if some of those topics are not available. I can't imagine a scenario where I would want the proxy to link to an excluded topic. Am I missing something or is this a candidate for an enhancement request?

Re: Using conditions in Relationship Tables
If this is the case it must be a recent change. Works as you expect in Flare 11 for HTML5 output.

Thank you, Paul Griffiths.
My mistake. I double checked and confirmed you are correct. It works. There is no change in this behavior from v11 to v12.
The rule is this: in target output, the relationship proxy ignores topics that are excluded from the build.
For example, the proxy might normally show Related topics ONE, TWO, THREE, but if one of those topics is excluded from output the proxy omits that topic automatically.
