I have sets of guides, each with a TOC and a target: User guide, Install guide, etc
Some common topics have parts with conditions, so that those parts appear in some guides and not others (include this paragraph in User guide only, etc).
Now I want to create a linked TOC by dragging all the TOCs into one mega TOC. That mega TOC has a single HTML5 target.
Is there any way of respecting the conditions, so that the common topic would show with User guide contents when it appears inside the User guide, Install guide content inside the Install guide, etc.?
I imagine this isn't the best way of doing it (I would prefer to have separate topics with snippets for the common bits), but we've inherited the projects that way and it would be cumbersome to have to change.
Thanks

Re: Conditions in Linked TOC
I really don't think there is any way to do this if you're going to generate a single target, other than by using snippet conditions. Sorry.

Re: Conditions in Linked TOC
Hi,
Is there any easy way of finding the list of the topics that belong to several TOCs?
In Analyzer maybe?

Re: Conditions in Linked TOC
A way to get something close to what you were describing is to put each section in a drop-down, and each time the topic appears in the TOC, have the TOC entry point to a bookmark inside the appropriate drop-down. This will cause the topic to appear with only that drop-down open.
