Can we name a specific color in palette?

Post by ElaineB »

Hi all,

Is it possible to rename an alpha/numeric color (such as #db3f33) to an actual name that means something, like "Company Red"? RoboHelp allows us to do this and we are switching to Flare. We can pick the specific color we want and save it in the palette, but referring to it by 6 digits does not help our team - would be better to have a name that actually means something.

thanks for any input -

You can rename the ones in your saved list. Save the red that you want, then in the saved list name or rename it to what you want. To rename, click twice, slowly.
Added bonus: the list of saved colours will be shorter and easier to work with than the full list of MC's named colours.
