Post Flare 12 upgrade, hidden conditional text not hidden

Not hidden in output, that is.

I verified that my target excludes it. Something that worked in Flare 11 no longer works in Flare 12.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I was missing something. I clicked through each of my conditions and saw that I had inadvertently clicked one that the target IS instructed to publish.

I confused Flare by applying both publish and no publish conditions, so I guess the default in such cases is to show instead of hide.
