I have a bookmark in a h1 topic heading like this:
<h1><a name="bookmark1">Example</a> Class Commands</h1>
Now I wish to insert a cross-reference in another topic so I write:
In the <MadCap:xref href="Example.htm#Example">Example</MadCap:xref> the various class commands...
In my HTML5 output it shows as I hoped:
In the Example the various class commands...
But in the PDF output it shows:
In the Example Class Commands on page 4 the various class commands...
I changed the print medium xref format to {paratext} just like in the default medium but it seems in that case it
takes the entire h1 and not just the text inside the bookmark (so between <a bookmarkname></a> tags....
Any way to make this work in pdf output in the same way as in HTML5?
Best regards,
Colinda.
Use bookmark text instead of paratext in cross-reference

I have the same problem. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this?
