Can I create conditional Text tags and variables that are shared globally within the company?

I dont have doc2help yet, just trying to figure out some of the functionality.

Hi,
DocToHelp "knows" to types of variables:
a) Pure Text Variables (= text without formatting)
b) Rich Content Variables (= formatted content of arbitrary length)

While type "a" is stored in a project, type "b" is stored in Word documents and can be shared between different projects.
Both types support conditions.
