Hi all,
Is it possible to automatically add a caption to an image or table? The best scenario is this:
When I insert an image or table to a topic, a caption with a predefined style (e.g. p.caption or p.tablecaption) is automatically inserted above the image/table. I will then type the name of the image or table.
The end result should be something like this:
Figure 1.2: Image name (style=p.caption)
Image (style=img)
Table 1.4 Table name (style=p.tablecaption)
Table (table style=blue_table)
Ideas?

For tables, go into the table properties. You can select whether you want the caption to appear above or below the table. For images we created a style for image paragraphs and for captions. This allowed me to have the caption appear immediately below the image. I'm still pretty new, I don't know if there is another way to do this.

If you import a table, for example from Excel, the table gets cleared each time, so setting the table properties manually is pointless...
Ideally there would be a nice, clean way to add the caption and table count into CSS...
I've tried, but no joy as yet...
