Adding Multimedia mp4

Hello. I'm trying to add an mp4 video file to my project and there are several issues. First, when I go to find the file I get pop-up errors.

The first error seems related to Quick Time, however, QuickTime is not supported or installed on my computer.

Second, when I attempt to Add a Windows Media file, the mp4 is only displaying as a QuickTime file, yet the mp4 will play in Windows Media as that's the only video player I have on my computer.
