Change the submenu bullet in menus

I would like to change the bullet that indicates a menu item has children. The default is >> and appears to the right of the text.
I can't find where this is specified.
Does anyone know how to modify this?

I don't think you can change this in the skin (or at least I can't find anything).

You can specify it yourself by adding this to your stylesheet, where content sets what to display; this could be text (inside quotes), or maybe a url() to an image.
