How do I get the PDF Guide button in my topic toolbar

Post by hoffie4 »

I was browsing the MadCap help site teaching myself about Flare and I noticed on several pages that the topic toolbar on their page had a button for PDF Guide (see below) that opened the same topic in PDF form. How can I add this button to my own project and how do I link it to my PDF output? I have an HTML5 Top Nav project with a web output and a custom formatted PDF output. As of right now, I have just been providing hyperlinks to the PDFs on my webpage for users to click, but I really like the button and the possibility of having an automatic link to the relevant PDF output file.

If anyone knows how to add this button to my topic toolbar (it isn't one of the available toolbar buttons for me) please let me know.

The button is just an image that's inside a hyperlink:

I would guess that each section in the Flare help uses a different master page, and each master page has a link to a different PDF guide.
