Hi all,
is there a Whislist topic in this forum? I would like to discuss some missing features.
I would like to have meta information for topics such as keywords, creator/owner, relase date, approval date, etc.
Perhaps a history which lists the conducted changes to a topic?
The desciption field can do that but it seems just to be a compromise.
I would like to be able to start a global search on all my topics in a project, filtering for such index entries.
What do you think?

Re: Flare Wishlist
As this is a user forum rather than something the Madcap devs actively monitor, your best bet is to put in a feature request, to make sure your wishes are logged. See my signature for a link to adding a feature request.
(And yes, I know @Rob Hollinger does come in quite often, for which we are very grateful.)

Re: Flare Wishlist
It think it would be nice to have a top post where we can all discuss and solidify our individual ideas on how to improve the MadCap suite (in particular, Flare).
My top request, that I've reminded MadCap via feature requests twice a year, is online document/project collaboration. Such a service will be useful to those who cannot use MadCap Contributor (Windows only collaboration tool).
Unfortunately, MadCap's latest endeavor, "MadCap Central" doesn't offer online document collaboration.

Re: Flare Wishlist
I think we should use the forum to try out ideas rather than just go straight to a feature request. Sometimes there might be several ways to do something, and discussing it first can help.
I have been caught a few times when some features change because people asked for an update, and I had been quite happy with the old way - would like to know about changes in advance!

I would also like to see that blasted, "You cannot make another post so soon after your last." eliminated for, at least, any participant with more than 200 posts.

While I understand your complaint and to some extent agree with it, you weren't one of the few mods who spent hours shoveling the spam messages out of the forums. With that in mind, I think we all can wait a bit before posting again.sdcinvan wrote:I would also like to see that blasted, "You cannot make another post so soon after your last." eliminated for, at least, any participant with more than 200 posts.

I'm just saying that it would be nice if it were possible to only impose such a limit on newbies.RamonS wrote:While I understand your complaint and to some extent agree with it, you weren't one of the few mods who spent hours shoveling the spam messages out of the forums. Unfortunately phpBB's Flood interval is a blanket setting for all unless you hack it.
