Options under Home and Insert menus unavailable

Help - is this me? Most of the time I cannot access any options where there are drop-downs available from a menu. For example, using the List button on the Home menu opens the list dropdown but then greys it out.

I have been using Flare since v3 and cannot for the life of me think of something I have changed or what I am doing wrong. To add a list I have to now code it directly in the text editor. Similarly the Insert Table option just shows the table grid but greyed out so there is no way to choose the table cell and line number.

Anyone any ideas please. This is slowing me down at a time when I am up against a deadline. I might add that sometimes the menus ARE available.

I haven't seen anything like this.
Maybe it is worth deactivating Flare and then uninstalling it and starting afresh. It might save time in the long run.

I take your point but I am using Flare through VPN on a Widows 10 machine which throws all sorts of peculiar actions anyway (randomly starting Navigator, opening random window during typing etc...) so I don't trust it. Once I've got some free time (hah) I might go down the uninstall route when in the office. Meantime I'll keep trying to work out why it's happening. Appreciate your reply.

This turned out to be related to an incorrectly coded stylesheet. An incorrect space added to one entry, and a couple of media query ending brackets wrong. Slightly puzlled as to why they had the effect of removing drop-down options but, hey ho, it's fixed...
