View > File List
1 - I am working on a specific section and would like to isolate it from the rest of my project in File List, so that I can see which topics have been assigned which status conditions (content complete, formatting complete, among others). I know I can sort by Status but that displays a huge list of ALL my topics. Ideally I would like to sort by status but see only a subset of topics.
2 - Also, every one of my attempts is now part of that drop-down list. Does anyone know how I can remove them? There is no right-click delete type of thing.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: File List - use filter as search?
I can't help with the whole filtering thing, but sometimes those lists are as simple to clean up as selecting an item and pressing the delete key. (e.g. the To list in an Outlook email.)
Hopefully that trick works for the filter list.
Good luck.

Re: File List - use filter as search?
Psider, thanks for trying... but yeah, I checked for that and it didn't work. I thought maybe closing/re-starting the program might refresh the list, but nope... my items are still there.Psider wrote:I can't help with the whole filtering thing, but sometimes those lists are as simple to clean up as selecting an item and pressing the delete key.
