I've just started using image maps and I have encountered a problem. When I set my image to have a max width that equals 90% so that the image always fits the size of the web page, the hyperlink areas in the image map DO NOT resize with the image. Has anyone else encountered this and is there a simple fix for it?
I know that I can leave the image size as (default) and this will be a non-issue, but I am trying to build my project in a scalable iFrame and I don't want users to have to scroll sideways to see the entirety of large images.
image map link areas don't resize with the image

Re: image map link areas don't resize with the image
That's what I'd expect, hot spots are a web convention, Not Madcap, and can be viewed in a text editor (I can remember coding them by hand years ago, thankfully you don't have to do that anymore).
Even disregarding the hotspot, if I have an image that's too large I'll either crop it or resize it in a graphics program rather than relying on browsers to resize. This creates a better quality image and gives you more control over your output.
